It used to be the best. But then every star dies. The same is happening after every update. NOT Recommended with the latest update.

POINT OF CARE means your app HAS TO BE ROBUST and functional if the provider has a slow or no Internet connection!!! As an RN, I find this app to be indepensible to my practice. It is very easy to download and has everything I need for my practice.

I downloaded this new Merck Manuals reference when I saw it first available, have the home use version too. Here is what you need to know: - Its free - There are no ads - It downloads the all core content to your phone (very simialr to the online site), its not one of the apps that needs a internet signal. It does take some time the first time you open the app but its a smart move for all those who may have phone signal or wifi issues.

Found it easy to navigate and very useful so far! Great to have the Merck Manual at my fingertips on the go

This app is incredibly robust. The initial download time is lengthy but allows you to access a large amount of the core content w/out WiFi later. Would recommend if you travel a lot or live in an area w/out stable connection to internet.

Major down grade from previous version. Font is tiny and illegible. Information is cumbersome to access and now buried in minutia (if you can find the topic at all). Wont be using this app any longer - they have effectively killed it for any clinician in a busy practice who needs a quick reference - so sad, this used to be my go to reference source...

Can confirm it can now be used offline (without internet access). Not certain if the app has been updated since the poor reviews. Interface layout is an improvement over previous versions. It is simple and quick. It is priced competitively compared to other similar medical textbooks. Highly recommended.

Great app, nice thing you added the videos and the ability to download for offline usage, but please fix the LACK OF AUTO ROTATION while playing the videos. Its hard to see a horizontal video in a vertical view.

We need autorotation! This edition may have more information but format is clumsy, hard to read.

Unfortunately I cant rate it cuz nothing is working the topics is blank videos are blank so not sure if this can be fixed.

If you like the Merck then you will like this. Not sure if will get content updates but its nice to have handy.

If you like the Merck Manual, youll definitely like this app. I use it on a regular basis. Its well worth the $30 to have the Merck with you at all times.

This is fantastic execution of textbook to application conversion. It is so much easier to use a reference that is searchable rather than having to ruffle through a textbook, not to mention the environmental benefits! I hope to see some functionality improvements such as being able to search text within an article in the future, but otherwise an ideal reference application.

My best medical app till now. Worth a penny

If you are looking to premium medical research aside to any of your case history problems. Than, you have found the one that is worth every single penny. It is a wise investment. Regardless, of your medical skills. You will win every time with this one. Good Luck.

Im a combat medic in the military, and Ive found this app to be very helpful in times when equipment weight is a consideration. Great app!!
